Social-First

Continuing my journey in the musical instrument manufacturing industry, I left Taylor Guitars and assumed the role of Digital Media Manager for Yamaha Corporation of America. Yamaha is the biggest manufacturer of musical instruments in the world, and I helped them navigate the world of paid social and paid media. I managed many millions of dollars of budget to help 11 category teams achieve their paid media goals.

Mobile-first creative

I helped implement a mobile-first creative suite for paid social, including a full suite of 1x1 (square), 4x5 (portrait) and 9x16 (full vertical for Reels, Stories, and Shorts). I also helped pave the way for testing social-first video that feels more authentic and less corporate.

Amazon Success

We ended our fiscal year 2024 with a 15 ROAS on Amazon—by far the most return on investment of any platform.

Safety First

I helped the creative teams navigate the nuances of social media creative, including focusing on the Instagram “safe zone,” ensuring the main creative elements don’t clip with Instagram’s UI elements.
